Red, White, and Blue Classic & Wisconsin Youth State Championhip

The Red, White, and Blue Classic

The Red, White, and Blue Classic coonhound events include three UKC sanctioned bench shows and nite hunts, held at select clubs across the state. An exciting grand final showdown to crown the WCHA Overall Nite Hunt Champion concludes the competition season in September. The Overall Champions of both the nite hunt and bench show portions of this prestigious race, as well as Opposite Sex winners are honored at our Annual Charity Awards Banquet. All entry fees and donations made to WCHA are tax deductible with the proceeds donated to our selected charities. Click for Hunt Bid Application.

Be A Part Of Something Special......

The Red, White, & Blue Classic events provide for an exciting competition to crown the Wisconsin Nite Hunt Dog of the Year and the Wisconsin Bench Show Dog of the Year awards, as well as recognition for the Opposite Sex winners for each.

The Wisconsin Nite Hunt Dog of the Year is earned by the hounds that receive the highest cumulative score over the three events, based on the WCHA points system. Our format has changed to provide for a grueling 2 round grand finale in Plymouth, WI. in Spetember, for advancing qualifiers from the Red, White, and Blue events. The Wisconsin Bench Show Dog of the Year is earned by the hound that receives the highest cumulative score over the three Red, White, and Blue events, based on the WCHA points system. Dogs receive points by winning Best of Show in each of their respective divisions, with the 6 finalists being placed in order of 1st-6th for the overall at each event.

The high scoring dogs of the alternate sex of the selected "Dogs of the Year" are recognized as the "Opposite Sex Overall Champion(s)".
